Getting Started with Slimefun
Type /sf guide into the chat bar to get a free copy of the Slimefun guide.
Upon opening your guide, you may feel overwhelmed by the vast number of new items to research and create. Don't be, Slimefun is something which takes time to learn, unlock, and make. Give yourself all the time you need to unlock and make the items. There is no rush, everyone makes things at their own pace.
Here are some hints, however:

Make a base. Get shelter from the nightly mobs that will try to attack you. Something with four walls, a roof and a door are usually a good starting point.
When you are ready to start
The first thing you have to do is to "unlock" the items in the book. You will use the XP you have collected to do this. When you have enough levels, just click on the item you want to unlock.
Start with the Basic Machines. I know Nuclear Reactors and Wonder Machines sound like so much more fun but the Enhanced_Crafting_Table will be your most used machine and its the first you should make.

Some machines are multiblocks. This is when you take normal MC blocks and put them together to make SF machines. Most of the basic machines are built this way.
Here are a few useful things you can build with the basic machines:
If there is anything you don't quite understand, other players on the server will more than likely be glad to help you.
