Compressor
The Compressor is a machine that is often used in Slimefun. It can be used for many different purposes, such as obtaining carbon from coal, obtaining cobblestone from flint and stone chunks, and creating reinforced/steel plates.
Creating a Compressor
The Compressor is a Multiblock Structure which means that you need to build the structure as it shows in the Slimefun Guide, It is not crafted. To make a compressor, place a dispenser facing any direction. Then place two pistons on opposite sides adjacent to the dispenser, then place a nether brick fence on top of that dispenser to complete the multiblock.
Using the Compressor
To use the compressor, you need to put the item that you want to compress in the dispenser then right-click (or whatever you changed your 'use' key to) on the nether brick fence. The item will not be compressed if there is either no space for the compressed item, or if there is no space for the compressed item to go to in an output chest.

- 4 Stone Chunks --> 1 Cobblestone
- 8 Flint --> 1 Cobblestone
- 8 Coal --> 1 Carbon
- 8 Steel Ingot --> 1 Steel Plate
- 4 Carbon --> 1 Compressed Carbon
- 8 Reinforced Alloy Ingot --> 1 Reinforced Plate
Collecting the product Once you have Compressed the item, the product will appear in a remaining space within the dispenser. If there is an output chest adjacent to the dispenser, the compressed product will appear in that chest.
